In order to use the 247webvision phone viewer your mobile device needs to be able to access the normal internet. Some phones claim to be internet compatible but are in reality restricted to a specific site or sites supported by their phone company: these phones are not capable of viewing your cameras. To install the Phone Viewer on your mobile phone please follow these instructions:
(1) On your phone open the internet browser and connect to the internet when prompted to do so.
(2) Enter this web address: http://www.247webvision.com/wv.jad and go to it. If you are testing this facility to see if your phone is suitable then please use this web address: http://www.247webvision.com/wvd.jad instead.
If you are unable to do this then the phone has restricted access and cannot view your cameras.
(3) When asked if you want to install software from an untrusted source, click 'Yes' and accept the requests to continue and finish installation.
(4) An application called 'CrocodileWatch' will have been installed on your phone, normally on the menu or desktop, but this depends on the specific phone.
(5) Find this application and launch it. Depending on the phone, you may see the yellow 'Eye and Globe' icon on your desktop.
(6) The first time you open the application you will have to go into 'Set Up' and enter your 247webvision Username and Password. If you are testing this facility to see if your phone is suitable then please use a phoneviewer application from this web address: http://www.247webvision.com/wvd.jad instead. When you have entered this, find 'OK' and select it. This will take you back to the top menu: then click 'Connect'.
(7) Connect to the internet over WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) which should be an option you are offered.
(8) In a few seconds you should be able to see live pictures from your cameras on your phone
